Lifesize Hand Carved Pink Flamingo Sculpture 'Floyd'

Our lifesize Pink Flamingo stands roughly 4.5ft tall, is hand carved, colored, and finished for outdoor display. His legs are made of non corrosive metal piping in order to ensure stability, bondo'd with wood added to the knees and ankles, and then carved - his legs are secured roughly 3inches into the lower portion of his body and into the base making him a single piece. He weighs roughly 55 to 60lbs.
We do suggest, if kept outdoors, for him to be kept on a covered patio or somewhere he will be kept from constant direct sunlight as he is made of wood and constant direct sunlight will wear down his finish faster, meaning he will need to be refinished more often to ensure maximum protection.

Hidden Treasures
Fun fact about our Pink Flamingo...When we originally started carving it last year, we found a hole in his neck (which is an easy fix) - before plugging it, I had one of our twins draw a picture to put in the gap before we closed and sealed it. So, there is a secret treasure hidden within and a special memory for one of our little guys who will forever be a part of our Flamingo.
Feather Detail
There is extensive feather detail throughout the entire body of the Flamingo, from the smaller feathers towards the front of the body and the base of the neck, flowing back towards the wings and tail feathers, growing in size as they progress. Each individual feather was put in by hand.
3ft Tall Strutting 'Tom' Turkey Chainsaw Chainsaw Carving

This particular 3ft tall strutting 'Tom' turkey was mostly done by chainsaw and sanded with finer details put around the neck, face, legs, feet, and beard by hand.
He is carved of a full oak log, hand painted throughout his face, neck, body, tail and wing feathers. He has been finished with a logging oil and treated for outdoor display.
We do suggest, if kept outdoors, for him to be kept on a covered patio or somewhere he will be kept from constant direct sunlight as he is made of wood and constant direct sunlight will wear down his finish faster, meaning he will need to be refinished more often to ensure maximum protection.
